Weekly Roundup #4: Folklore and chai lattes

Weekly Roundup #4: Folklore and chai lattes

Not as much reading this week, clearly, but I did get to go to our nation’s capital for the weekend. Caught up with my friends from middle school, who haven’t all been together in seven years, and it was as if no time had passed. It was wonderful and my abs literally hurt from laughing (and my cheeks). It was a nice reminder that we can grow up, but still not stray too far from our innocent childhood selves. Plus, DC is amazing! They have such cool little artsy neighborhoods, I adored it. I also lost my credit card and discovered I don’t enjoy Amtrak, but those things were very much overshadowed.

Eating

The Coupe, Washington, DC. Honest to god, best chai latte I’ve ever had. And the breakfast grain bowl? Oh my god. To die for.

Angelico Pizzaria, Washington, DC. Highly recommended after a night out. Really good, cheap and the portions are ginormous.
