Weekly Roundup #70: Lineups and neon

Who else took advantage of World Press Freedom Day and got their free NYT reading on?? I also had my last day at The Knot last Friday and I’ll be starting at Love Stories TV tomorrow morning! I might take some time off from this to focus on getting in the swing of things and I’ll be visiting my parents this week so things will be a little busy. Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, Gail Honeyman. I love this book. I’m actually rereading it for our team book club, which I will now not be a part of so, if anyone wants to discuss, hit me up!

The Dead Ex, Jane Corry. This book…it was over-the-top and not in an entertaining way. There were just too many plot points and back stories and none of it connected in a way that made you think, “Wow! I’m glad we had that.” I’d skip this one.

How Bibliophiles Flirt, The New York Times. Oh. My…I LOVE THIS. I also cannot fathom not reading at least a book a week annnd I kind of wish my boyfriend was a big reader simply because of this proposal story.

The Devil And Kiernan Shipka, Nylon. I really wish I could get into Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but it just creeps me out too much—I couldn’t finish it. Mad Men, however, need to rewatch that one! I never did see the final season…anyway, although I may be behind the times on her shows, Kiernan definitely seems like someone I wouldn’t mind hanging out with for a day.
