My 2018 Dream Christmas List

My 2018 Dream Christmas List

Well, it’s officially December and, I don’t know about y’all, but I’m dreaming of the things I would ask for if I still sent Santa a list. (If you still do…send me his address.) These are things that are absolutely ridiculous or things I simply cannot justify buying over groceries and paying off my bills. If you know of any similar (*cough* cheaper) products or just want to throw out some of your 2018 Christmas wishes, sound off in the comments!

Gifts

1. Wilfred Free Daria Pant, Aritzia: Vegan leather? Yes, please. It’s the only leather I’ll buy. I’ve wanted these pants (let’s be real, leggings) for three years now and I still haven’t been able to bring myself to spend the money for them. So, time to call in the big guns. Santa, I’ve heard these are super comfy, don’t stretch out or bag and wash really well. Pretty pretty please!

2. ‘REPLICA’ Funfair Evening, Maison Margiela: I adore all sugary, cotton candy-y, vanilla-y scents and this is the epic combo of a classy scent, yet still with all the sweetness I love.

3. 1460 Smooth, Dr. Martens: In black because, duh. Gotta go classic. I don’t know why I recently became so obsessed with these shoes. Possibly because I now try to avoid wearing heels whenever possible and I also had to let go of my go-to festie boots last year, so I need a new pair. Preferably more solid than the last. I’ve heard these are a bitch to break in, but so worth it once you do.

4. Custom Vegan Leather Jacket: I don’t know where to even find this perfect product, but I need it and I want it. If you know where I should look for one, let me know!

5. Retro Mini Fridge, Frigidaire: In case you haven’t heard, I’m obsessed with skin care. So Santa, all I want for Christmas is a baby fridge so I can keep some of my products cool, right by my bedside and not in our main fridge, preferably in Millennial Pink. Thank yooouuu!

6. The Chameleon, Amika: This curling kit has five interchangeable barrels for whatever size curl you’re feeling. Let’s be real, I’m never going to buy this on my own, but if someone wants to get it for me, well, I’ll be super grateful!

7. Lava Ceramic Hairstyling Iron, CHI: I desperately need new hair tools. I’ve been using the same straightener since high school, which is probably why I avoid using it so often…help me, Santa!

8. OOSC My Lil’ Unicorn Ski Suit, ASOS: Unicorns and shooting stars and rainbows and diamonds? I just really want this to be my outfit for SnowGlobe. Thanks.

Stocking Stuffers

1. Bébé Duette, Votre Vu: I got this lip balm/hand cream last year and I’m obsessed. The framboise (raspberry) tint is subtly pink and the tarte d’amande (almond pie, so like a sweet almond) scent is amazing. I’m almost out of mine and desperately need a replacement.

2. Sheet Mask Bundle, Peach Slices: This K-beauty brand is adorable and affordable. I love all their masks, really all of their products (special shout out to their Acne Spot Dots!), but especially their masks. Calm is a cult-classic, but could I just get a whole bunch of these babies?

3. Cable Knit Chenille Lined Gloves, Urban Outfitters: I have something called Raynaud's Syndrome, where my fingers tend to lose circulation very easily in cold weather (or the freezer section at ShopRite) so I have gloves tucked away in all my jacket pockets. Problem is, they’re the shitty, cheap ones you get at the front register in Target, super cheap and replaceable after a season. It’s probably time for me to get some actual cute, and slightly thicker than a tissue, gloves.

4. Thigh high socks: Specifically socks I can wear under knee-high and thigh-high boots. It’s gettin’ chilly out there, y’all!

5. Shower Wine Glass Holder, Sipski: You’re lying if you haven’t wanted to have a shower glass on occasion, or at least a shower beer. Alternatively, you can use the wine glass to hold some eucalyptus or other plant that will make you shower a soothing, green oasis.

6. I Dew Care Mini Meow Trio, Memebox: If you’ve seen any part of this website, you may have realized I love purple. So it’s not too much of a surprise that I’ve wanted to try Memebox’s shimmery lavender Sugar Kitten mask for a while now. However, Disco Kitten is also on my list, so might as well try them all!

6. Compact Styler, Tangle Teezer: I mean, how pretty is the “Holographic” case?? Plus, I’ve heard the Tangle Teezer is great for hair like mine (coarse, frizzy, wavy) so what a better excuse to try it than this shimmery, magical case?

7. Balm Dotcom, Glossier: I’ll take Coconut please! Or Birthday. Or Cherry…hmm, maybe Rose? You know what, I’m not picky.

8. Critter Ring, Urban Outfitter. Ask the bf and he’ll tell you I love rose gold (he’ll say it’s a problem, but we don’t listen to him). I also love baby tchotchkes. Put it in animal form and allow me to hang my rings on it?? Sold.

9. Unicorn Portable Power Bank, MojiPower: Clearly I just scrolled through Urban Outfitter’s Stocking Stuffer section, but, hey, I found some super cute things in here! Like this UNICORN portable charger. Sure, it’s probably not practical, but to be able to charge on the go is huge, especially as a commuter, and if I can do it in adorable style, you better believe I will! 🦄🦄🦄

Happy shopping, everyone! I know this was just a huge list of all the things I want to buy (Ok, want people to buy for me, who am I kidding?), but I really do believe the best part of the holidays is doing things for other people, whether it’s buying gifts for them or taking a name off the tree at church or volunteering at a soup kitchen. There’s a reason I love the “giving season” and it’s not just for the gifts. If you’re not feeling the holidays this year, it’s time to shake off the Scrooge and put a little Whoville in your heart! ❤️
